TAFE’s MASSEY DYNASTAR Contest – Season 2 Recognizes Grassroots Agri-Innovation


TAFE Massey DYNASTAR Contest Season 2 Grand Finale

[India] — August 11, 2025 — TAFE (Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited), one of the world’s largest tractor manufacturers and the maker of the legendary Massey Ferguson Tractors in India, successfully concluded the second edition of its Massey DYNASTAR Contest – Season 2, 2025 | #SabseBadeAllrounder Ki Talaash. This pioneering initiative discovers and rewards original, scalable, socially impactful ideas powered by the versatile Massey Ferguson DYNATRACK 241.

Participation & Reach: Season 2 received 16,000+ entries from 26 states and 5 Union Territories. From this pool, 12 finalists were selected representing 7 states — Assam, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh — including farmers, rural entrepreneurs, and agri-students.

Grand Jury & Evaluation: At the Grand Finale, industry veterans from Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Product Management evaluated the finalists on innovation, feasibility, scalability, income-generation potential, and societal impact.

Key Highlights (Winners & Awards):
  • Grand Prize: Avinash Desai (Belgaum, Karnataka) — a mobile slurry dewatering machine powered by the MF DYNATRACK 241. Prize: brand-new MF 254 DYNASMART 2WD tractor (≈ ₹ 8.2 lakhs).
  • Second Prize: Prateek Agarwal (Hojai, Assam) — solar-powered sustainable energy hub. Prize: 8 gm gold coin.
  • Third Prize: Amrit Jot Singh (Patiala, Punjab) — MF DYNATRACK-powered water purifying unit. Prize: 8 gm gold coin.
  • Jury’s Choice Award: Dr. Jayakumar Karuppusamy (Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam) — multipurpose farm machine. Prize: 50 gm silver coin.
Institutional Category:
  • 1st Prize: Agricultural Engineering College & Research Institute (TNAU), Kumulur, Trichy — 8-row tractor-mounted transplanter for MF DYNATRACK 241.
  • 2nd Prize: Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Erode — automated multi-vegetable transplanter for MF DYNATRACK 241.
  • Students from both teams were offered internship opportunities at TAFE.

Prizes & Support: Brand-new tractor, gold & silver coins, innovation hampers, and development grants — reaffirming TAFE’s commitment to empowering rural India, farmer-led R&D, and real-world innovation through technology.

Looking Ahead: Building on this success, TAFE announced that the MASSEY DYNASTAR Contest will return next year with Season 3, expanding its reach, scale, and impact across India’s rural landscape.
