Useful information
• |
Suphala 15:15:15 and Suphala 20:20:0 are the only products of its kind
manufacture in India. |
• |
Suphala 15:15:15 and Suphala 20:20:0 are the concentrated fertilizer
containing three/two primary plant nutrients i.e. nitrogen, phosphorus
and potash/nitrogen and phosphorus respectively. |
• |
The granules of suphala 15:15:15 (2-4 mm) and Suphala 20:20:0 are
spherical, uniform and free flowing which facilitates its even
application to the soil. |
• |
The homogenous granules of the products keep the nutrients in exact
proportion and even availability to individual plant. |

Suphala 15:15:15 or 20:20:0 in required quantity (335
kg./ha.) is used at the time of planting of Tomato crop.
When the soils are rich in potash, dose of suphala
20:20:0 as per the soil testing recommendation may be given.
How
to Apply
• |
It should be applied at the root zone as a basal dose at the time of
planting. |
• |
Suphala 15:15:15 is balanced fertilizer with three major nutrients NPK
and suitable crop Tomato crop whereas Suphala 20:20:0 gives two major
nutrients N and P hence it should be applied where K is rich in the soil
for Tomato crop. |
• |
On application of Suphala 15:15:15 and Suphala 20:20:0 to the soil,
the readily available forms of nutrients in suphala like nitrate
nitrogen, water soluble phosphate and potash are immediately available
to the crops. This helps in establishing initial stand and vigorous in
earlier stages of the crop. |
• |
The steadily available forms of nutrients in Suphala like ammonical
nitrogen, citrate soluble phosphate and temporary held potash keep the
nutrients in available state for a longer period and hereby maintain
steady growth of the crop. |
• |
After application of these fertilizers, crop should be irrigated
moderately. |
• |
Suphala 15:15:15 is useful for Tomato grown in soils low in potash. |
• |
Suphala 20:20:0 is useful for Tomato where the soils are rich in
potash. |
For Ujjwala (Urea)/ Suphala 15:15:15/20:20:0
It is easy to select the product on the basis of soil
testing results.
The results of the trials, demonstration plot show that
is a very effective for cash crop like Tomato and vegetable. Agronomical
effectiveness of Suphala and Ujjwala (urea) were assessed by the Indian
Council of Agril., Research, New Delhi, Agril. Deptt.of states and
Agricultural university for suitable to various agro climatic regions in
the country.
