Responsibilities:
Manage, maintain and undertake measurements at different phenotyping platforms from ICRISATs on-station experiment (Headquarters, Patancheru)
Conduct agronomic field experiments independently as per the requirements of the projects
Periodical sampling, processing and analysis of soil and plant material from field experiments
Operation and maintenance of analytical laboratory equipment, data collection, organization and data quality control, basic data analysis skills are advantage

Requirements:
Graduate degree in Environmental Sciences/Soil Science/Chemistry or possess an equivalent qualification (analytical chemistry skills/large data management skills are an advantage).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Proficiency in Computer skills (MS-Office, Data Management and Processing)
Strong organization skills, punctuality, independence, and proactiveness are essential
Steep learning curve necessary
She/he to be a good team player, comfortable working in multicultural & multidisciplinary team
Driving licence is an advantage

General:
This is Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) position for Three years, renewable based on the performance of the incumbent and the institutes continuing need for the position
