Profile Summary:
The fodder development team of Animal Nutrition department is looking for a trainee for a project on establishment of Moringa orchard for seed production & processing
Qualification:
B.Sc. in Agriculture with sufficient knowledge in the area of Agronomy. M Sc (Agri) candidates shall have an added advantage
Responsibilities:
1. Development of moringa orchard for seed production
2. Planning and execution of farm activities
3. DEVELOPMENT OF Reporting and data management SYSTEMS
Skills/ Attributes (Technical):
Through knowledge of agronomical practices of cultivated crops including fodder crops, grasses, trees etc. Knowledge of Fodder seed production, processing, treating, packing & testing; Farm equipments required for seed bed preparation, irrigation, harvesting and pick up devices; Computer application.
Skills/ Attributes (Managerial):
Management of fodder farm including procurement of inputs, labour management, data recording, marketing of seeds.
