Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognized University or Institute

Desirable :
● Higher educational qualification i.e. Masters Degree/Ph' D'/additional specialized qualification in the relevant field from a recognized University/institute
● Persons who have experience in Schemes/Projects in the above subject.
● Knowledge of Climate Change and adaptation strategies.

Experience : At Least 5 years of experience in the crop husbandry, crop specific technologies and horticultural practices, management and mitigation of various climatic aberrations and associated risks particularly in rainfed areas.

Age Limit:
(i) Normally, the maximum age limit for the position of Research Associate (Agriculture) will be not exceeding 65 years.
(ii) Normally, the maximum age limit for Young Professionals will be 35 years. This is relaxable further in respect of persons belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PWD and expertise on the subject.
