The Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), will organize a two-day training course on “Flower Cultivation and Landscaping”. This training programme will be conducted on January 22 and 23.
Horticulture development officers, district extension specialists and scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras will participate in the course.
The floriculture experts will discuss the current status of flower cultivation in Punjab, cut flower production, production of loose flowers, flower seed production, management of diseases in ornamental plants, uses of ornamental plants in landscaping, maintenance of lawns and post-harvest handling of flowers.
