M.Sc. Agriculture (Plant Biotechnology)
Applications are invited for the DBT supported M.Sc. (Ag) in Plant Biotechnology course conducted at College of Agriculture, Vellanikkara, Thrissur under Kerala Agricultural University for the Academic Year 2022-23 from 23.09.2022 onwards. The candidates should submit the online application and upload the scanned copies of all the relevant documents in the Google Form link provided on or before 09.10.2022. More details are available on the notification published here.
The application form is available on the KAU website www.admissions.kau.in. After registering on the website, the candidates should submit the online application. Copy of the Application form and the scanned copies of all the relevant documents such as GAT B 2022 rank card, degree/ provisional degree certificate, marks card, proof of age, category certificate (OBC / SC / ST / EWS / DA) have to be uploaded to the google form link (https://forms.gle/ULD9JRhKmJ9BG3TN9 ) on or before 09/10/2022.

Qualifications required.
i. Four year course in B.Sc. Agriculture/ B.Sc. Horticulture/ B.Sc. Forestry/ B.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology/Four year B Tech Biotechnology from an institution accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
ii. For admission to the programme, bachelor’s degree in the respective subject with an overall grade point average (OGPA) of 7.00/10.00 for general category and 6.50/10.00 for SC/ST category. Applicants whose final result declaration is awaited may submit an undertaking from their Registrar/dean that they have successfully completed their course with an OGPA of 7.00/10 for general category and 6.50/10.00 for SC/ST category
iii. Qualified in the GAT-B with a valid rank in GAT-B 2022 examination conducted by Regional Center of Biotechnology, Department of Biotechnology (DBT).
Mode of Admission Eligible candidates shall be admitted based on the rank scored in GAT-B 2022. Reservation As per the Government of India guidelines.
