A.

I have total land of 16 hectare out of which 10-hectare is irrigated and the whole land is under cultivation.

A.

I have 10 cows (local crossbred), 5-buffalos (local pure bred) and in milk cow and buffalo 3 each.

A.

I have 4 Electric Motors with pump, 1 tractor and attachments (rotator, cultivator, leveling blade, and trolley)

A.

The award was given to me for proving agriculture as a successful activity in our area through various activities.
  
Q. As progressive farmer what improvements did you make in the following?
A.
  • Crop production

    • - New varieties – Hybrid rice seed production

    - Use of fertilizers – Appropriate combination of inorganic and organic fertilizers.

  • Irrigation

    • Sprinkler / drip –adoption of drip and sprinkler for horticulture

    Fruit crops – Banana, mango, coconut, guava are grown organically.

    Any other – Aquaculture and Agro-Tourism

A.

I have received innovative farmer from (Indian Soc. of Agri. Extension, New Delhi)
   
Q. What are you suggestions for other farmers to adopt?
A.

To get good supportive income and dignity from rest of the society farmers should look into the possibility of "Agro-Rural Tourism". It is the need of the hour.
