Bael (AeIglemoremelos)

Its leaf extracts are used to remove pests like jassids from potato, peas and onions. It can be used after dissolving it with hot water. It is also used as offering to Lord Shiva.

Black Mustard

Its leaf extracts is used after mixing it with hot water. It is use to prevent stem rot of cotton plants.

Brown Mustard

After mixing its leaf extracts with water it is used for prevention of different paddy diseases like brown spots etc.

Caster (Erandi)

Oil observed from the seeds of the fruits has got many chemicals. It is used after dissolving it with water. The mixture is use to cure disease like jassids and different type of bugs from plants like maize, mustard, Bengal gram etc.

Custard apple (Sharifa)

It is a common hilly plant. Its fruit and leaf extracts are used for different disease like diamond black moth, pod borer, fruit borer etc. Normally 200g of fruit or leaf extracts is mixed with 1lit of water. It is use on plants like Brinjal, rice, cauliflower etc.

Belladonna (Dhatura)

Leaf extracts or leaf dust can fight with different types of diseases. It helps in preventing pests from stored grains. It is also effective for brown rust in wheat plants. 20-50g of leaf extract is to be mixed with 1 lit of water.

Ginger

Chemicals which is present in the bulbs, leafs, buds of garlic is very effective as pesticides. Its dust and extracts are use for diseases like powdery mildew etc. 10g of dust is used for 1kg of grains.

Lantana

Lantana is one of the common weed grown in India. Its leaf extracts are used for plants like potato, onion, brinjal, tomato, chilli etc. it is very effective against leaf miner.

Mahua

Leaf extract and seed oil of this tree is generally used for diseases like root rot and stem rot of plants like jute, cotton and potato. Generally mixture of 2-3% of oil and water spraying is effective.

Merigold (Genda)

Extract of root, leaf, flowers and its dust is used for root knot nematode of different crops and vegetables. It is effective as trap crop.

Onion

The extract of bulbs and leaves is useful to control fungal diseases of rice, wheat and various fruit crops.

Basil (Tulsi)

Tulsi is sacred plant in our country. The leaf extract is used against leaf minor and diseases like leaf curl. Generally it is used against various insect pests and diseases in tomato, brinjal, potato, chilli, onion and ornamental plants.

Tobacco

Tobacco is generally used to prepare bidi, cigarette, and other products. Tobacco leaf contains different types of alkaloids which are effective against pests like Heliothis, Diamond back moth, jassids etc of various crops. Tobacco leaf dust gives protection to stored grains against insects and fungi.
