Engine stops
  • Engine runs in idle condition
    but doesn’t run on load.
 1. Bleed the fuel line.
2. Repair the pump in repair shop
3. Clean the filter
4. Check the injector testing machine & rectify the defect.
5. Set the clearance.
6. Change the rings
7. Adjust the lever correctly
 
  • Engine runs on load
    but doesn’t run in idle condition
 1. Check the injectors on injector testing machine and rectify the defect.
2. Check the flowing mechanism.
3. Get the pump repaired in specialised repair shop
4. Get the governor repaired in specialised repair shop
5. Adjust the clearance
6. Change the rings.
 
  • Engine runs on load
    but suddenly stops
    while working
1. Remove the locus.
2. Check up the pump in specialized repair shop
3. Change the fuel.
4. Test it on injector testing machine.
5. Clean the air cleaner
6. Adjust the timing mechanism.
7. Change the ring and recondition the valves.
8. Clean the air cleaner.
 
Engine doesn’t start
  • Starter doesn’t turn
    the engine fly-wheel
 1. Charge the buttery fully.
2. Adjust the pinion correctly
3. Repair/change the switch
4. Check the starter and repair it
5. Connect the terminals
6. Use lubricating oil and low
7. Get it repaired in specialised shop
8. Clean the fuel filter
9. Change the fuel
10. Check up the timing mechanism
 
  • Engine gives excessive
    smoke, engine gives out
    black smoke due to
    inefficient combustion of fuel.
 1. Clean it.
2. Reduce the fuel supply
3. Reduce the fuel injection
4. Calibrate it in specialised shop
5. Use the correct fuel
6. Check the cooling system
7. Replace them.
