Ecoderma

Is a product containing Trichoderma Viride,  an antagonistic fungus that effectively controls both seed and soil borne pathogens, causing damping off, root rot, wilt diseases. Ecoderma has an organic certification from a European accredited agency for its use in organic farming

Ecohume

ECONEEM PLUS  

It is a neem based botanical insecticide containing 10,000pm of Azadirachtin.

• ECONEEM PLUS is manufactured from 15% Azadirachtin Technical that is being exported to all the developed markets in Europe and US over the last 8 years.

• ECONEEM PLUS is a balance mixture of Neem Oil & Azadirachtin thereby making available all the liminoids that are required for an effective insecticidal action of the neem fromulation.

• ECONEEM PLUS has a concentration of 10,000ppm Azadirachtin; the dosage requirement gets reduced making it economical to the user.

ECODERMA: 

It is an antagonistic fungus containing Trichoderma viride, which is effective in controlling both seed & soil pathogens.

Performance of Trichoderma depends on

• The spore load in the formulation at the time of its application

• Moisture content in the formulation

• Extent of contamination in the formulation

• Strain of Trichoderma in the formulation

• ECODERMA has potent spore load of minimum 10⁸ CFU/gm of the product, even at the end of its shelf life of 6 months.

• The moisture content in ECODERMA formulation is maintained at optimum level to ensure that spores remain inactive but are viable.

• ECODERMA formulation has negligible contamination thus enhancing performance by eliminating intra microbial competition.

• The strains used in ECODERMA are virulent & are native selections.

• It protects crops from both seed & soil bore pathogens

• It prevents likely resistance build up by fungal pathogens

• It is compatible with bio-fertilizer

• It is safe to the soil & does not harm beneficial microbes in the soil

• Seed treatment – 10 gms of Ecoderma should be mixed with 1 Kg of seed along with rice gruel (liquid starch) uniformly. The seeds should be dried under shade for about 30 minutes before sowing.

• Soil & field application- 1 Kg of Ecoderma should be mixed with 50 Kgs of organic manure/ FYM/ vermi compost & heaped at an elevated place. The mixture should be covered with gunny bags and kept moist by periodic sprinkling of water for about 7 days for the spores to multiply. Thereafter the mixture should be used for soil application.

It is a bio insecticide based on selected strain of Bacillus thurungiensis (B.t) var Kurstaki.

Delfin is effective against hard to kill insects such as diamond back moth, Spodoptera & Helicoverpa, but is very safe to human beings honey bees and wild life.

1. It is a pollinator friendly insecticide, which encourages bee activity while controlling insect pest.

2. It has a potency of 53,000 Spodoptera units/ mg of the product.

3. As Delfin causes disintegration of epithetial cells, insect larvae either suffer mouth paralysis and die of starvation or septicemia resulting in eventual death of larvae.

4. The product can be used right upto the crop harvest stage, as there is no waiting period.

5. Delfin is exempt from tolerence requirements in India and other countries such as USA for all recommended use.

6. It is a good product for insect resistance management and residue management in all agricultural crops.

Delfin can be used in controlling lepidopterous pests such as shoot borers,

Budworms, boll worms, fruitbores.

The product should be sprayed @ 0.5 gms to 1 grm/ltr of water used depending on the stage and intensity of pest population. Spraying should coincide with hatching of eggs or on appearance of 1^st instar larva.

The in-house R&D wing is also working on other eco-friendly products such as, a Biological fungicide, NPV and a Biolarvicide. The products are likely to be introduced in the year 2000.
