Qualification Essential :
Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree with significant research experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities: :
Research and Experimentation:

• Design and conduct experiments using biotechnological methods such as genetic engineering, CRISPR/Cas9, cloning, and recombinant DNA technology.
• Develop and optimize protocols for DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gene editing, protein expression, and other molecular biology techniques.
• Analyze experimental data using bioinformatics tools, statistical software, and advanced imaging techniques.

Project Management:

• Assist in planning and managing research projects, including developing timelines, organizing resources, and ensuring adherence to project goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate biotechnological approaches into broader research objectives.
• Maintain detailed records of research activities, including laboratory notebooks, databases, and reports.

Product Development:

• Contribute to the development and optimization of biotechnological products, including genetically modified organisms (GMOs), biofuels, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostic tools.
• Participate in scaling up laboratory protocols to pilot-scale production, ensuring reproducibility and quality control.

Field and Laboratory Work:

• Conduct laboratory experiments and, when necessary, field trials to validate biotechnological applications in real-world settings.
• Collect, process, and analyze samples using various laboratory techniques.

Publication and Reporting:

• Prepare research findings for publication in scientific journals, patents, and presentations at conferences.
• Write technical reports, grant proposals, and other documentation required by funding agencies and stakeholders.

Supervision and Training:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers, laboratory technicians, and interns.
• Train personnel in the use of specialized biotechnological equipment and techniques, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Experience : Experience in a biotechnology research laboratory, with a focus on molecular biology, genetic engineering, or related areas.

Skills :
1. Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (e.g., gene cloning, CRISPR, qPCR, sequencing).
2. Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and software for data analysis.
3. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a research team.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
