Qualification	:	1. Bachelor's degree in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry with at least 6.00 OCGA out of 10.00 point scale or equivalent (Trimester/ Semester System or at least 50% marks (Traditional System); and 2. A master's degree in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry subject with the minimum requirements of a good academic record, 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and 3. Passes National Eligibility Test conducted by the IAR/UGC/CSIR or some other agency approved by UGC, along with one publication in NAAS rated refered journal for all the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentially of NET can be waved off for the candidates holding PhD degree provided that it has been done with as prescribed by the UGC regulations 2009 and having two full length publications having NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application.
