Qualification:
M.Sc (Ag) in Genetics and plant breeding (Preferable)
Experience:
M.Sc (Ag) in Genetics and plant breeding Freshers
Skills Required:
1. Breeding of B.T Cotton Crop.
2. Hybridisation Techniques and
3. Release of promising varieties and hybrids.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Should organise breeding programs as per the market requirements.
2. Should be able to manage day-to-day activities of seed farms / R & D farms.
3. Should collect and maintain required germ plasma for breeding and crop improvement programs.
4. Note the morphological and quality parameters as per DUS guidelines
5. Participate in conducting and monitor the initial, advanced and adaptive trials at different locations across the south zone.
6. Other tasks given by Sr. Breeder
