Qualification:
Essential: Graduate degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering /Irrigation & Drainage Engineering / Agricultural Engineering /Integrated Watershed Management with Graduate degree in Agril./Civil Engineering.OR
M.Tech/ PG Diploma in RS & GIS (Water Resources/ Agriculture/ Soil Sciences/ Watershed Management) with Graduate Degree in Agril./ Civil Engineering.
Desirable: Work experience in Design, implementation and monitoring of soil & water conservation Engineering measures/activities, watershed management.
Age Limit:
21 to 45 years
How to Apply:
- The eligible candidates are invited for the WALK-IN-INTERVIEW at Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi / ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun.
- Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the date of walk-in-interview.
- The essential qualification given in the advertisement against each position is minimum. Candidates possessing higher qualification in the relevant fields may also be considered for these positions subject to their suitability for the positions.
- The positions are purely temporary on co-terminus basis and do not entitle the appointment to any claim implicit or explicit on any post.
- All position will be governed by the rules and norms of funding agencies.
- The applicants appearing for walk-in-interview may bring duly filled in application in the prescribed format available on the Institute’s website along with original and self-attested copies of the marks sheets, certificate, experience certificate and matriculation certificate for verification of age.
- The applications shall be entertained as per reporting time given against each position. Beyond reporting time, no application shall be entertained in any case.
- For Sl.No.8 & 9 interested candidates may send their c.v. along with a good quality photograph by email (icar.nmshe@gmail.com) and bring all original certificates at the time of interview.
- Separate application will be required for each position being applied for the candidate.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending interview.
- The selected candidates should have good health and would be stationed at the project sites as mentioned against each position. However, besides project sites, he/she may have to visit any place in India, if need arises.
- Candidates already in employment should obtain a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer.
- In case the number of candidates are large the interview may continue to next day. Accordingly, candidate may make their own arrangements for stay.
- In case numbers of candidates are large enough, the Project Coordinator/Principal Investigator/competent authority reserve the right to fix criteria to limit the candidate on the basis of qualification, experience etc.
- The decision of the Project Coordinator/Principal Investigator/competent authority shall be final and binding in all aspects.
