Qualification:
Master’s degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding or relevant subjects with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree (or) Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET (or) JRF's with two years of work experiences in DST/DBT/ICAR sponsored projects on plant sciences as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z.09/2012 of DST dated 21.10.2014.

Desirable: Minimum 2 years of experience in the field of crop improvement for biotic stress with Marker assisted selection and working knowledge of computer with better communication skills.

Age Limit:
Maximum age 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC candidates)

The certificate verification and interview process of eligible candidates for the above posts will be held on 09.11.2016 at 9.30AM onwards at IARI, Regional Station, Wellington – 643 231.
Interested candidates satisfying the essential qualifications may come for the interview with a copy of the bio-data, original and attested copies of all certificates, recent copy of passport size photograph, etc.,.
The above posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year but may be extended on year to year basis based on performance of the candidates.
The candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute, as the posts are co-terminus with the respective projects.
No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
