Qualification:
(1) B.Sc. (Agriculture)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture/ B.Sc.(Agri. & A.H.)/ B.Sc. (Horticulture)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Forestry)/ B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry/ B.Sc. (Chemistry, Physics, Maths and/ or Biology) with at least 55% marks in percentage system or its equivalent grade in the point scale system by a recognized University.
(2) Master’s degree in concerned discipline with 55% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized University.
(3) Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline.
(4) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. degree in concerned discipline having minimum of 08 years’ experience of T/R/E at Assistant Professor or equivalent level (excluding period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree) in the Pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500/revised pay scale as per 6th pay commission.

Desirable: Teaching Experience at UG and PG level in the concerned discipline, and research papers published in national/international refereed journals.
