The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, wants young minds to give thoughts and ideas to the impact of
climate change, to chalk out a road map for climate-smart agriculture, ahead of the congregation of prominent
agricultural scientists in the city.
On the theme ‘climate-smart agriculture’, the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore organised a painting competition
for students of classes 7 to 9 , as a curtain-raiser to the 13th Agricultural Science Congress, which is held on the UAS
campus from February 21 to 24.
At the Botanical Garden of the GKVK campus off Airport Road, the competition was hold from 10 a.m. to noon. Students must
reported along with their school ID cards at the venue by 9.30 a.m. The participants brought the painting material, while
the organisers was provided drawing sheets.
