Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Agriculture (Plant Breeding and Genetics or Plant Pathology or Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences (Botany/Genetics/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences) with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable Qualifications :
Two years research experience in rice Rice Pathology/Rice genetics/Rice Breeding/Rice molecular biology/Rice Marker-assisted selection as evidenced by publications and/or reference letters.
